Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use indusminds.tech (the "Platform"), operated by IndusMinds, a micro enterprise registered in India (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-GJ-24-0236920), Vadodara, Gujarat ("IndusMinds", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using it, you confirm that you are.
2. What IndusMinds is, and is not
- IndusMinds is a simulated work experience. The companies on the Platform, such as FinLab, are fictional, and the projects are learning exercises.
- Using the Platform is not employment or a paid internship with IndusMinds or any other company, and it does not come with a stipend or salary.
- Your team members and reviewers (for example Sarah, David and Elena) are AI personas, not real people.
- Scores, feedback and Readiness Reports are generated automatically by AI. They can be inaccurate, and they are not an official certification, academic credit or a guarantee of a job, internship or placement.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure, and tell us at hello@indusminds.tech if you think someone else has used your IndusMinds account. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Your work
- You own the work you submit, including your written answers and code.
- You give us permission to store, process and analyse your submissions, including with AI services, in order to review them, run the Platform and improve it, and to display them back to you and to anyone you share your Readiness Report with.
- Only submit work you have the right to share. If you link a GitHub repository, you allow us to read it to review your work.
- Using AI tools while you work is allowed and is part of what we assess. Presenting someone else's work as your own is not.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or upload content that is harmful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights;
- try to manipulate scores or reviews, for example by hiding instructions to the AI reviewers in your submission;
- attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Platform, or access other users' data;
- share your account, or create accounts for anyone under 18.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Our content
The Platform's design, project briefs, tasks, personas and other materials belong to IndusMinds. You may use them for your own learning while using the Platform, but not copy, resell or republish them.
7. Beta service
IndusMinds is in beta and is currently free. Features, projects and availability may change, and the Platform may sometimes be unavailable. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance and you will not be charged without agreeing first.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Platform at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@indusminds.tech. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the Platform.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, IndusMinds is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions anyone makes based on AI-generated feedback, scores or reports. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Vadodara, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you on the Platform or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
